The role offers all the key ingredients for someone looking for new challenges and career growth. The role will suit a motivated degree qualified Accountant with a “hands on, can – do” attitude.
Some key tasks will include preparing journals, accruals and reconciliations leading up to month end. The role will support the Financial Controller with a range of tasks including end of month financial reporting, analysing performance, reporting on variances and other client reporting as required.
There is also significant project and automation work to do as the business look to streamline how they operate and look to create efficiencies. Assisting to review the AR/AP function (whilst they transition to an automated process) is an example of one project you will be involved in. The Operations Manager will work closely with you to drill down on data sets to get detailed client reporting and trend/ variance analysis.
This role will suit a degree qualified accountant who is enrolled in CA/ CPA (or started) and looking to progress your career. You will have outstanding Excel skills for modelling/ data capturing performance reports.
Personally, you are motivated, switched on and keen to progress your career. You will be keen to contribute to automation and process improvement projects and over time take on more of a leadership role.
